Its that Golden Gloves time of year again! Yeah!!
The NY Metro Region Golden Gloves finals were held on April 6th and 7th at Madison Square Garden. See results and photos of the NY event. 2006 Ringside World Championships will be held August 1-5th in Kansas City, MO. This international amateur event expects nearly 1500 boxers from around the world to compete in 6 rings running simultaneously. See Ringside.com for your application packet or call (877)426-9464. Bouts for all age groups- boys, girls, mens, womens, novice, open and masters. 
Junior Olympic National Championships will be held June 26 -July 2 in Marquette, Michigan. Junior Olympics are for ages 15-16. Details about the tournement are available.
USA Boxing Metro Sanctioned Events Empire State Games (ESG) New York City Regionals for the games will be held at Gleason's Gym, 83 Front Street in Brooklyn, NY - Quarter-final: June 13th (Tuesday) - Semi-final: June 20th (Tuesday) - Finals: June 24th (Saturday) All ESG weigh-ins will be at 5:30 PM with boxing beginning at 7:30 PM. General Admission is $15, Gym Members $5. All Bouts Sanctioned by USA Boxing, Metropolitan.
